Education is a human right, a driver of development, and one of the strongest instruments for reducing poverty, improving health, gender equality, peace, and stability, according to the WorldBank. Yet, learning is far from guaranteed.
COVID-19 led to a catastrophic inequality. Children with disadvantaged backgrounds benefited little from remote learning due to a lack of electricity, connectivity, devices, and caregiver support. At least a third of the world’s schoolchildren – 463 million globally – were unable to access remote learning during school closures.
We need to act now. Our current progress is not enough to meet the ambitions of SDG 4 - the UN goal of quality education. With Equal Access, we enable youth to acquire the advanced cognitive, socioemotional, technical and digital skills they need to succeed in today’s world.
"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world"
Nelson Mandela
We are dedicated to increasing access to education for disadvantaged populations around the world, ensuring that all students have the resources and support they need to succeed. We advocate for policies and programs that support education for all and raise awareness about the importance of education. To achieve these goals, we collaborate with a range of partners, including governments, schools, communities, and other non-profits.
Support usOur ultimate mission is to create a world where every person has the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed, regardless of their background or circumstances.
As individuals who are passionate about education and believe in the transformative power of technology, we were inspired to found a non-profit organization. We are driven by a desire to address the issue of educational inequality and believe that digital education can be a powerful tool for levelling the playing field and providing students in underserved areas with the resources and support they need to succeed.
